  Cocoa Organic cocoa beans are produced with fair trade agricultural practices and naturiga cocoa powder is processed with traditional methods. Rare, thin-shelled, high-quality and naturally flavored criollo cocoa beans are collected by hand and the collected raw cocoa fruit is transferred from box to box and properly ventilated. Then they are left to dry on large trays in the sun, this is where the reddish brown color develops. It will lose most of its moisture and original bitter taste at this point. The moisture level of the raw cocoa beans on their way to the factory is kept under control along the way.
  The raw cocoa beans, which are carefully washed in the factory, are roasted for a short time at low heat with a special method called “gentle roasting” in order to be completely purified from bacteria that are at risk of carrying due to growing in tropical regions, and to preserve their nutritional values. At this point, its aroma and flavor develop and the outer shell loosens. It is separated from its shells, only the cocoa bean remains.
  It is mechanically pressed until it turns into a brown mass to remove the cocoa butter in the bean. The result is a solid “cocoa cake”, which is ground into powder. During this entire process, cocoa does not encounter any pesticides or chemical treatments according to organic farming principles. Alkalization and Dutch processing are not applied during the production phase.
  Before the cocoa powder that leaves the producer comes to our country, it is sent to quality control facilities in the European Union for compliance tests with European Union standards. It does not contain any added sugar, additives, colorants and any chemicals to extend the shelf life. It is completely 100% cocoa powder.
